In 1916, five Missionary Baptist Churches; Poley Bridge, Palmyra, Seven Creeks, New Life and Magnolia located in Columbus and Brunswick County, North Carolina came together and formed the Dock Association.
Unfortunately, information from the first session is only known by God. November 9, 1917 was the first recorded session and the second session of the Dock Association was held "with the church at - Poley Bridge, NC ". By 1931, there were 17 member churches with the highest peak of 18 member churches by 1976.
Today, the missionary endeavor continues within the 13 churches of our association located in Southeastern Columbus and Western Brunswick County, North Carolina. Together we are on a mission to reach the lost and unchurched with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
