ServeNC is a statewide mission blitz organized by the North Carolina Baptist State Convention, in partnership with Baptists on Mission, designed to activate North Carolina Baptist churches to serve their communities in the name of Jesus Christ. It typically takes place the first week of August
Community-driven projects, tailored to local needs—backyard Bible clubs, home repairs, wheelchair ramps, school supply distributions, block parties, yard clean-up, prayer-walking, and support for first responders
Disaster relief support, enabling churches to pivot and assist communities hit by storms like Tropical Storm Debby and local tornadoes
Training and resources, including local rallies, county coordinators, project guides, and promotional materials to equip volunteers and churches
Over 1,000 churches participated in 2024, serving in nearly all of North Carolina’s 100 counties
In 2025, planning for ServeNC Week (Aug 2–9) is already underway, with churches reporting meaningful gospel conversations and lasting community partnerships
It's intentionally church-led, encouraging every congregation to "move out of their seats and into the streets"
Strengthens local unity, fosters cooperation among churches and civic groups, and demonstrates Christ’s love tangibly
Inspires ongoing missional engagement, with many churches continuing outreach beyond the blitz week
