Our History

In 1916, five Missionary Baptist Churches; Poley Bridge, Palmyra, Seven Creeks, New Life and Magnolia located in Columbus and Brunswick County, North Carolina came together and formed the Dock Association. 

Unfortunately, information from the first session is only known by God.  On Nov. 9, 1917; the first recorded session, the second session of the Dock Association was held "with the church at - Poly Bridge, NC ". By 1931 there were 17 member churches with the highest peak of 18 member churches by 1976.

Today the missionary endeavor continues within the 13 churches of our association located in Southeastern Columbus and Western Brunswick County NC. Together we are on a mission to reach the lost and unchurched with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
